There is just something about scarecrows that I like. I guess because I liked the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz. Now it makes me think that God made us out of nothing and breathed into us and gave us life. Then he "stuffs" us with light to serve His purpose and reach out to others. Scarecrows hang on the pole or tree. Jesus hung on a cross for us to give us eternal life. We need to always hang onto God. So now we can see whey scarecrows have such a big smile! It doesn't get real cold here in Southern California. I enjoy the fall, especailly after the long hot summer. I enjoy decorating and I have several scarecrows that I have inside and outside of my house. I even have some at work. I keep them up through Thanksgiving. "As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease."
