The a couple of weeks later I went to Roarito Beach
with the same group I went to the mountains with.
They are on the bottom of this page.
We stayed at Alice's parents's beach house. We at
lobster at Puerto Nuevo(Newport Beach)and went shopping
and enjoyed wathcing the sun set sitting on the patio.
We played in warm ocean and collected rocks.

Me and my cousin Joanie.

There were so many beautiful rocks, all so unique,
just as God as created all of us. Here is my favorite
with a flower design in the middle. I found another one
and I have it at my desk at work next to a picture of
my hubby and I in Alaska.

We came back from Rosarito on Saturday and after church
on Sunday a group of us went to see Menopause the Musical.
Tap the picture to read about the musical.

On August 4th we went to a Luau birthday for my cousin Joanie.

Saturday our married group went to Newport Beach
for dinner and shopping. I got this pretty necklace.

August 10, 2006, our 32st anniversary.

2 days latter we celebrated my 51st birthday.

On August 26, I went to the Anaheim Pond to see
the American Idol Tour with my friend from work
and my cousin Joanie got to go too. There is a link at my blog that has all the pictures. My blog is

Since it was a record heat breasking summer,
I took lots of relaxing, cool baths.

I worked on my Alaska scrapbook

And finally, I read lots of books!

My Summer Vacation 2003

This June my 14 year old daughter graduated from Jr High.

Right after she graduated we left on our vacation to June Lake. We drove in our new car, a 2003 Toyota Highlander. It took us about 5 hours to get there. We stayed at a house with two other couples. We were there for 3 days. Then we went to a bed and breakfast in Kernville Ca and we loved it at June Lake and Kernville

For the 4th of July we went to my parents for a barbque and swimming. My sister Terry and I spend a few hours enjoying the pool. So did my daughter Renee. She loves to swim!

On the 5th we went to see Pastor Eric marry Jennifer. It was a big and beautiful wedding. Pastor Eric has touched our lives in a big way. Before he became a couselor, he was invoved in video productions with the church. He put together a beautiful video montage for our 25th anniversary 4 years ago. Since becoming pastor of counseling, he has counseled me by myself, My husband and I together and each of our sons. We are so fortunate to receive this counseling for free!

July 15th, I got DSL! Well for all you computer friend,
you know what this means!

July 25th, I got in a car wreck ion my brand new car. Some guy turned left in front of me and what a disaster. Luckily I was not seriously hurt. I lost 6 days of work for muscle and neck sprain. After a few weeks in the shop. I got my car back. But we had to use a rental car for our anniversary getaway.

August 9th-11th, My husband and I went away for our anniversary weekend. We went to Laguna Beach and we had the nicest time there. The weather was warm there, but still much cooler that where we live by 20 degrees and only 40 miles away! Anniversary Get away at Laguna Beach CA

The last few days I have been working on converting my little patio garden to a little more patio. I bought several 16x16 brick tiles and put them in where I had impatients, rocks and garden signs growing! hehehe. So I got this cute bistro set from Walmart on sale and now I have this little place to read or journal. I have 2 small fountains and all my windchimes.
